Yes, Lighthouse is open on weekends. Our hours are 9am-5pm on Saturday. Please note that on Sundays, calls are by booking only.
If you prefer speaking to someone, you can reach us during these times or on weekdays from 8am-7pm. On Bank Holidays we operate from 10am-4pm, except Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day, when we are closed.

If you are unable to return home as planned due to a reason covered by the policy, your cover will automatically extend until you are able to return home or until you are admitted to a hospital or medical facility in the UK.
If you are having a good time and are looking to extend your trip it may not be possible to do it while you are outside the UK. Typically, policies need to be adjusted or extended while still in the UK. However, you can click here to contact our customer service team to help.
The maximum age for an Annual Multi-Trip policy is 85 years. Eligibility depends on factors such as your destination, underwriting criteria and the policy offered, subject to the policy terms and conditions.
There is no upper age limit for Single Trip travel insurance. Eligibility depends on factors such as your destination, trip duration, underwriting criteria and the policy offered, subject to the policy terms and conditions.
Cancellation cover of up to £10,000 per person may be available, depending on the policy offered following your quote, subject to underwriting criteria and the policy terms and conditions. Please refer to your policy documents for full details of your cover.

For detailed information on cancellation terms, please refer to the policy wording which are available when you get a quote. Our policies come as a package and we are unable to remove sections of cover.
You can cancel your policy within 14 days for a full refund if you haven’t travelled, made a claim or intend to make a claim. Simply click here to log in to your Customer Area here. Or, if you are outside of the 14 day cooling off period, policies can only be cancelled due to exceptional circumstances as explained in your policy wordings. The refund of the unused premium will be calculated on a sliding scale basis as per the table in the policy wording.
